This is my first scarf, relearned knitting thanks to this challenge! It was fun and opened new creative skills to practice and explore. The fiber was beautiful to work with, thank you!

Maple Leaf Shawlette
This piece is a crocheted cropped shawl with a maple leaf motif. I designed the pattern myself using a filet crochet style. The body of the shawl is made from one skein of Mountains & Plains Fibershed wool yarn & the border is made from my 100% handspun eri peace silk yarn. This yarn is undyed; the beautiful red / orange hue of the natural silk helps compliment the fall them of the maple leaf.
